Is That Cake Stand a store?

Not exactly. My business is based in a commercial kitchen at 2 Cherry Street in Burlington., at the back of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church!

Everything is baked, decorated, and picked up there!

I can't click on a date on the order form! Does that mean you’re booked for that day?

Sadly, yes.

I can’t take orders for *custom cakes* less than a week in advance. Weekends book up quickly as well so if you’re looking to order for a Saturday or Sunday it’s never too early.

Can I order through Instagram, or facebook?

I can ONLY accept orders through the order form on my site. I CANNOT respond to orders or inquiries through social media. This is the only way I can keep things organized - and I need all the help I can get. Lol.

Do the cakes need to be refrigerated?

YES!!!!! all cakes are made with buttercream. Please plan to keep your cake refrigerated until 30-60 minutes before serving, ESPECIALLY in warmer weather!

What if I need to cancel my order?

Payment for custom cakes is due one week before pick up. Custom cake orders can be cancelled up to three days before pick up.

Custom cakes that have been paid in full and cancelled more than three days before pick up will be refunded fully.

Custom cakes cannot be cancelled or refunded within three days of pick up date.

Is this your full time job?

YES!

As of July 2023 I am a FULL TIME cake maker based in a commercial kitchen at 2 Cherry Street in Burlington. I am a licensed commercial baker/caterer and I am fully insured.

I placed an order yesterday and I haven’t received a confirmation yet. Should I email you?

If you ordered a custom cake and did not receive a confirmation feel free to follow up. It can take me up to two business days to respond to custom orders. Thanks!
